placed an order

I ordered my Disney prints yesterday. I was able to narrow it down to 202 prints. I went through them several times. I was strict with myself & only ordered ones that I knew I would be scrapbooking. I have been ordering from MPix but I had a 20% off & free shipping from shutterfly so I am crossing my fingers that they turn out alright. I may still send off a few of my faves to MPix but for the lion's share I hope that Shutterfly will do alright. I was pleased with my Christmas cards through Shutterfly so we shall see.

Finally a couple LOs to share. I am still trying to master the art of the scan. I keep getting a line, there has got to be a trick that I am missing! Over on the Creating Keepsakes Message Board they have been exploring the different scrapping styles. I have to admit that this is something that I have wondered myself. I am sure that some people will consider my style simple but I also have a mix of many other things in there. I was trying to nail it down but then I figured.... "why?" I decided that I am just going to go with what ever moves me & just create! WHO says I need to name it?

More Pics from Disney

Love Disneyland at Christmas, even though I barely got any pics of the decorations. The first 2 days that we were at Disneyland it rained so I didn't get very many pictures that day. By the third day of our visit many of the decorations were taken down. The castle at night....so pretty!

Disneyland California Adventure will be undergoing so many drastic changes! We were there amidst most of it. I can't wait to see what it will looks like in 2013. Big Thunder Mountain, one of our favorite rides! I took this shot using my 85 mm from across the Rivers of America.

the King Arthur's Carousel at night.

The Columbia. Amazingly I have never set foot on it! It was fun watching it sail by during Fantasmic though!

Sights from Disney

Ok, so one of my dream days would be spent at Disneyland just me and my camera. I would capture all of the amazing details that are Disney. With our most recent trip being 5 days long you would think that I would have been able to tear off a little portion of time to do just that but, unfortunately that was not the case. With 8 kids, all adults have to be on high alert at all times! I did manage to get a few good shots though. One of our favorite rides! The Hollywood Tower of Terror. One of the cast members gave us a special fast pass so we were able to race to the front of the line...so cool!

This is a picture of a picture...cheesy I know. But I love this shot of Walt. I can only imagine the peacefulness of the park before it opens. Walt making his morning rounds.

In DCA, I just love this sign & the clever wording.

The Indian village off of Tom Sawyer's island. The Mark Twain. I have more Disney detail pics that I will share tomorrow!

More Disneyland pics

The force is strong in this one. Sophia learning how to be a Jedi knight.
Ashton showing off his pins. The kids loved trading their pins. Evan's gaol: to get all of the villains. He was successful in collecting quite a few: Chernebog, Jafar, Ursula, Scar, the Queen of Hearts & Chick Hicks from cars.

One morning we headed over before the rest of the group & practically ran through fantasyland! The longest line was for Peter Pan.

Sweet Bethany. She dressed as a princess almost everyday. She was Snow White for the first day.
Some of the decorations in New Orleans...so beautiful.
I truly can't wait to get these pictures back so I can scrapbook them!

Disney adventure

Five days at Disneyland, 8 kids & 8 adults: truly my idea of perfection! Honestly I could stay there forever. I got some great shots and I can't wait to get them printed! My mom & Sophia on the carousel.
Love this one of my brother with Logan & Evan. Too sweet!

Aubrey, Sophia & Mickey.

Evan with Pluto.

Love this shot of the castle. I tried to get the full reflection but this was the best that I could get. Love the way it turned out though!
